Christmas Ornament Wreath
In the midst of setting up the new website today, I did some crafts today! I made a couple of ornament wreath! I have been so excIited this holiday season because I want to do all of my decoration from scratch and I think I did an excellent job. This year my theme is "A Natural Christmas". The idea comes from my husband being an outdoors man and I love neutral colors. I didn't want to spend a lot on something that I may not use any more and making things yourself gives you the opportunity to personalize it.
This is what it took for the ornament wreath:
1 large size wired hanger
1 pair of small pliers
Several different sizes of ornaments (I used about 50 ornaments)
Poinsettia Flowers
3 silver ornament hooks
Take the wired hanger and shape it into a circle
Once you get the perfect circle, take the pliers and unscrew the top of the hanger
If you can straighten out the top part of the hanger do so, so you won't have a hard time putting on the ornaments.
Separate your large, medium, and small ornaments.
Start putting your ornaments on to your wired hanger.
Rotate the size and style of each ornament.
Once you have put your ornaments on the wire, close it at the top near the hanger original hook.
Take a silver hook and wrap it around the stem part of the poinsettia flower. Place the flower on the top part of the wreath and wrap the hook around the wire and stem so the flower can stay in place. Make sure the flower is secured on the wire.
There you have it! Your own personal ornament wreath!
